A series of diptych where the colour palette of one panel is derived from an inversion of the colours of the other panel.
A title for this series could be “Despite our differences we are made for each other”.
Angels, having been a mainstay in art for a thousand years, are now an endangered species. Maybe we are destroying their habitat along with so many other species? Maybe these are the last angels, tumbling out of the sky?

An ongoing series of hanging forms.
This series of constructed female figures is inspired by the #MeToo movement. Each painting is constructed from male representations of women; taken from art history, fashion, illustration, cartoons and advertising. Whilst initially appearing to be quite traditional paintings of women they have an uncertain, fake, deconstructed nature to them, drawing in question issues of the male gaze as well as man’s role in constructing the female image.
Houses of cards
Initially a love letter to Fabritius and his Goldfinch painting. This ongoing series is about fragility
Past, present, future
The original self portrait was done at art school, in 1982. I painted it again in 2017. The final painting is anticipating my looks in around 2035.
